Dottie Jeffries has a distinguished background in media relations, communications, marketing and branding. Since 1986, she has worked with many for profit and nonprofit organizations, helping create and carry out coherent, effective media and marketing strategies.
During her long career, Jeffries has guided organizations, businesses, and artists to achieve their goals and has developed clients’ capacities to communicate their core identities and distinguish their unique voices in an often noisy media environment. She enjoys working with range of clients, including, artists, writers, foundations, professional associations, corporations and arts organizations. Known among journalists for her taste, her tact, and her impeccable research, she has access to a stellar list of contacts in the print, broadcast and online media. The respect she enjoys in the media has helped her imagine and place hundreds of stories in elite media outlets including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, USA Today, PBS NewsHour, Newsweek (cover story), National Public Radio, Scientific American, Science News, The Today Show, CNN, Harvard Magazine, and many others.
An alumna of Case Western Reserve University, Jeffries holds a B.A. in classics.
